Yin-Tung Tan is a civil engineer in the engineering department at Taoyuan International Airport Corporation (TIAC). He has been involved in the Terminal 3 construction project since 2006 and currently leads the construction team finishing the foundation work of the terminal building (a 3.5 billion NTD construction contract) and continuing on the Terminal 3 main building construction project (a 44.5 billion NTD construction contract). Tan brings over 19 years of experience in civil engineering, including roadway design, maintenance work of runway and taxiway infrastructure systems and terminal building construction. Before joining TIAC in 2013, he worked as a civil engineer in an engineering consultancy firm in the USA and Taiwan. He holds a BSs in civil engineering form Tamkang University, New Taipei city, and an MSs in civil engineering form Arizona State University, US. Tan was recognized as a registered Professional Engineer in the state of California in 2009.
