Steve Morris serves as Hill International’s senior vice president, aviation. In this role he oversees the firm’s global practice, consisting of more than 600 professionals currently delivering more than US$50bn in airport construction. He has more than 35 years of experience in executive corporate management, global practice building and management, business development, professional consulting, enterprise and commercial management, program and construction management, strategic and sustainable planning-design-engineering management, client and government relations, operations management, project finance and due diligence, project assessment and management, and project controls for both commercial (privatization/concession) and public works programs. Morris has also served as a corporate officer and senior vice president for worldwide design and program management firms providing practice management/development, marketing and business development. In utilizing developed relationships, Morris expanded the opportunities into Asia and South East Asia for several employers. He has been in a leadership role overseeing projects such as Hamad International Airport (Doha, Qatar), Dammam International Airport (KSA), Central Poland New Airport – CPK (Warsaw, Poland), Denver International Airport (Colorado, USA), San Francisco International Airport (California, USA), and Won Pat international Airport (Guam).
As an experienced consultant, Morris directed the development of both public and private concerns for airport programs. He has been involved with all aspects of airport development and operations for greenfields, airport expansions and improvements. In total, he has marketed, planned, designed, managed development and supported aviation programs under practice leadership with a combined construction value worth over US$400bn over his career.
