Phil Scanlon is Field CTO (APJ&ME) at Solace, where he works with enterprise customers across the region to align technology decisions with their business and architecture priorities. Based in Australia, he advises customer teams on the design and adoption of real-time data streaming and event-driven systems as they navigate modernisation, integration and AI initiatives. With more than 25 years in enterprise software, Phil has held customer-facing leadership roles across the UK, Europe, North America, Australia and Asia-Pacific. He joined Solace in 2016 and previously served as SVP of Global Systems Engineering, working with customers across financial services, retail, manufacturing, transportation and energy to deploy enterprise-scale event meshes. Before Solace, he held senior customer-facing positions at TIBCO and Mercator Software and began his career in technology and engineering roles at Procter & Gamble and ICI. His focus today is helping organisations put real-time data to work — connecting the systems that run the business so they can move faster, operate more responsively and build the foundations for AI.
