Mabel Kwan
Mabel Kwan has over 20 years of experience in strategy and investment in the travel sector. During her career, she was involved in the investment, asset management and divestment of several aviation companies such as airports, lessor and airlines, including in setting up the first low-cost carrier in Singapore. Her views on aviation trends and economics have been featured in international publications and conferences.
Mabel is currently a Managing Director at Alton Aviation Consultancy, a global aviation management consulting firm, where she advises on business strategy, investments and PPPs, particularly for airports.
Previously, Mabel was Managing Director of Investments at Changi Airports International where she drove the investment strategy of CAI and designed solutions for CAI’s partners in airport management and development. She was instrumental in establishing the first airport investment platform in Asia with global investors and led teams to successfully bid for airport concessions in the Middle East & Asia Pacific. She was the board representative on several project companies.
Mabel began her career in Singapore Airlines as a company planner, and subsequently held roles of Associate Director (Investment) at Temasek Holdings, and Director of Development (Asia) at Hilton Worldwide.
An advocate of community give-back, Mabel spends time outside work to mentor start-ups and on charitable initiatives. Mabel is currently a Board Member of Women in Aviation Singapore, driving industry diversity. She also serves on Temasek Polytechnic’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Advisory Committee.
