Laurence Liauw is principal director of planning and design consultancy Spada, a Hong Kong registered architect, and adjunct associate professor at the University of Hong Kong. With previous work as an investment banker in London/Tokyo, Liauw has over 30 years of urban development consulting, masterplanning and architectural design experience in the UK, Middle East, Africa, South East Asia and China. Spada’s strategic development planning and design work on airport/airport city projects include Addis Ababa, Jeddah, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Guangzhou and Beijing Daxing Airport. Liauw graduated from the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London, and has a degree in management and systems from London University.
