Korijn Defever holds an MSc in science of engineering and is the general manager of Airport Intelligence, delivering expert consulting services. Before taking on the lead of Airport Intelligence, Defever did 10 years at Brussels Airport working as a strategy and management consultant. As an airport expert, Defever’s main focus has always been to continuously improve airport processes. In Brussels, she was part of the team that set up the APOC and guided it to a pro-active and data-driven coordination center and was responsible for the development and implementation of the AOP. Since joining Airport Intelligence, she has already supported more than 15 airports in Europe and Asia in their transformative journeys toward TAM. Defever has also played an active role in the implementation of the APOC and AOP concepts in collaboration with other European airports. She led a consortium of 12 airports in a European-funded project to develop an AOP and co-chaired the ACI Europe AOP Group for five years.
