Mr. Karol HALICKI is an expert in modern aviation infrastructure, unmanned aerial systems (UAV/drones), digitalization, artificial intelligence, and operational safety in the aviation sector. He serves as the Chairman of the Board for both the Bialystok Airport Association (Stowarzyszenie Port Lotniczy Białystok) and the Podlaskie Chamber of Aviation (Podlaska Izba Lotnicza), actively collaborating with key European institutions, including the European Commission, EUROCONTROL, EASA, and the European Defence Agency (EDA), to foster secure and sustainable transport systems.
A visionary in Polish and European aviation, Mr. Halicki is the creator of the concept designed to establish an aerial bridge connecting Eastern Europe with Southeast Asia. He strongly advocates for the development of dual-use aviation infrastructure and authored a comprehensive long-term strategic concept for the development of Polish aviation through 2075.
His educational background bridges technology, governance, and business management. He holds executive MBA degrees specializing in Aviation Cybersecurity from the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology, Aviation Industry Management from Lazarski University, and Banking Sector Management in collaboration with the National Bank of Poland. Additionally, he completed business course at Oxford University (UK) and the S. P. Jain Institute of Management and Research in Mumbai (India). His academic foundation spans classical economics, law, aviation law, psychology, and educational studies.
