Joachim Petry is responsible for driving the market introduction of the SDX 10060 XDi, Smiths Detection’s X-ray diffraction-based Explosive Detection System. With more than 20 years of experience at Smiths Detection, he has held a variety of technical, commercial, and business development roles. Throughout his career, he has gained extensive expertise in air cargo screening, non-destructive testing (NDT) applications, and solutions supporting the circular economy. Combining a strong engineering background with deep market knowledge, Joachim focuses on bringing innovative inspection technologies to new markets and customer applications. He holds degrees in Electrical Engineering from universities in Germany and France.
