Mr. Jeffrey Zhang​ currently serves as the Assistant to the General Manager and General Manager of the Marketing Department​ at Civil Aviation News Co., Ltd. (CAAC News). As the official media conglomerate directly under the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), CAAC News is headquartered in Beijing with branch offices in core aviation hub cities including Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Hangzhou, and Xi'an. The organization has built an integrated omni-media matrix​ spanning newspapers, periodicals, publishing, digital platforms, video production, and exhibition events. 

Prior to joining the civil aviation system, Mr. Zhang worked in the television and internet industries, serving as the Head of Film/TV and Marketing Departments at eLiren.com, China's first female-oriented vertical web portal. He joined CAAC News in 2001 and has since been dedicated to promoting industrial convergence and the dissemination of information technology within the aviation sector. 

Mr. Zhang is the founding architect of several industry benchmark platforms. In 2016, he spearheaded the establishment of the Marketing Department and successfully incubated renowned brand initiatives, including the Technology and Education Exhibition in Civil Aviation (TECA), the Civil Aviation Emergency Forum (CAEM), the Civil Aviation Intelligent Construction Forum (CAIC),and the China-Europe Aviation Summit. Since 2001, he has chaired the IT Forum of CAAC (IFCA), maintaining its status as the earliest-established and most frequently held professional forum in the industry. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he pioneered "Civil Aviation Wisdom Vision,"​ a premium live-streaming think tank column that has provided a vital arena for intellectual exchange within the Chinese civil aviation community. 

Additionally, Mr. Zhang served long-term as the General Manager of the Advertising Company under CAAC News. Through his efforts, CAAC News has forged robust strategic partnerships with globally recognized aviation leaders such as Airbus, Boeing, Air China, China Eastern, China Southern, and Hainan Airlines. Leveraging his exceptional capabilities in media convergence and industry resource integration, Mr. Zhang remains committed to building high-level exchange platforms that connect government authorities, industry entities, and technology innovators, thereby actively driving the digital and intelligent transformation of China's aviation industry.
