Mr. Umarkhodjayev was born in 1986, and in 2008 graduated from Tashkent Chemical Technology Institute with the specialization of Management. He began his career in 2007 as a Engineer-Controller at National Airline Company Uzbekistan Havo Yullari. From 2009 to 2018, he worked as a Head of the Aviation Security Department of NAC. In 2018-2021, he worked as Deputy Head of the Capital Construction Directorate of Uzbekistan Railways JSC and Technical Director for the Implementation of Tashkent-Vostochny Airport Project. In 2021-2023, he was the First Deputy Chairman of the Board for Operations of Uzbekistan Airports JSC. From August 9, 2023 he was appointed as the Acting Chairman of the Board of Uzbekistan Airports JSC. On June 20, 2024, by decision of the General Meeting of Shareholders of Uzbekistan Airports JSC, he was appointed to the position of Chairman of the Board of Uzbekistan Airports JSC.
