Jason Lin is the Vice President of Airport Operations Strategy & Transformation at Changi Airport Group (CAG). In this role, he leads enterprise-wide automation and digitalisation initiatives, driving the application of AI, autonomous systems and robotics in airport operations. He also oversees in-house centres-ofexcellence in Robotic Process Automation, Robotics and AI/Machine Learning. With extensive experience across operations and technology, Jason Lin provides stewardship in defining the right problems to solve, selecting fit-for-purpose technology and applying a systems engineering approach to solution design. His work involves close collaboration with technology partners across a full spectrum of innovation, including product co-development, startup corporate venture and research partnerships with research institutes. Jason Lin has been with CAG since 2016. During his tenure, he has led teams to operationalise airside autonomous vehicles (L4 self-driving), deploy bespoke AI models and software applications and deliver a patented spot-cleaning robot from concept to operations. Prior to joining CAG, Jason Lin was a Military Expert Officer in the Republic of Singapore Airforce, where he held a series of command and staff appointments across operations, airworthiness engineering and systems management. He was the Top Graduate of the Intermediate Systems Engineering Course and Distinguished Graduate of the RSAF Advanced Officer Course. Jason Lin holds a Bachelor of Engineering (First Class Honours) in Mechanical
Engineering from the National University of Singapore.
