Daniel Ng
Daniel is the Acting Deputy Director General where he oversees long term policies and plans to maintain Singapore’s competitiveness as an international air hub. These include air transport policy, industry development initiatives, oversight of airport infrastructure development and planning, as well as service and economic regulation of airport operations.
Daniel was appointed the Chief Sustainability Officer in 2022 to develop, implement and review domestic and international climate change targets, policies and strategies across CAAS and the Singapore aviation sector. He also represents Singapore on the ICAO Committee on Aviation Environment Protection.
With almost 20 years of aviation experience, Daniel has held appointments in the Corporate Development, Air Transport and Aviation Industry Divisions of CAAS.
Daniel graduated magna cum laude with a double major in Economics and Government from Dartmouth College in New Hampshire, USA
