Chapman Fong
Chapman Fong is the Director, Hub Development of Airport Authority Hong Kong and is one of the senior executive responsible for managing and directing air operation in HKIA.
Chapman has more than 30 years of experience in the airport industry. He started his career with HACTL in 1990, working in the project team for developing Chek Lap Kok SuperTerminal 1. He later joined the Airport Authority and held different managerial roles in airport operation, planning and development. He played an instrumental role in setting up the world first cross-boundary intermodal transfer service, implementing digital apron and autonomous vehicle at HKIA. Chapman is also currently appointed as board director of Hangzhou Airport JV and Zhuhai Airport JV of the Airport Authority.
Chapman got corporate membership in Hong Kong Institution of Engineers, Chartered Institute of Logistics &Transport and Royal Aeronautical Society.
Chapman graduated from the University of Hong Kong with a Masters in Transport Studies. He also completed several executive training at University of Cambridge, London Business School, and Columbia University.
