Momentum is impetus gained by a moving object. Basically, the higher the momentum, the greater the movement – reflected in the name Magnetic has given its new modular series: Momentum®. Pre-security gates, self-boarding gates, automatic border control gates and VIP gates optimise access and passenger control at all stations along the customer journey. This considerably increases the momentum of passenger flows. The new series combines an innovative range with the experience gained from more than 1500+ installed gates at airports worldwide.
Momentum reaches its high speeds by means of extremely short opening and closing times, as well as intuitively comprehensible light signals. Sensitive sensors reliably detect passengers and prevent unauthorised entry. This results in a continuous passage process that meets maximum security requirements.
A high level of reliability is essential for interruption-free passenger control. Magnetic stands for this with decades of experience, but above all with its technology. Drive and control units from Magnetic are not only found at airports, but also in all its barriers – proven in practice 200,000 times over.
Finally, the flexibility of Momentum® is much more than just a property – it is a design principle. The new gates can always be adapted to altered conditions. The flexible structure allows individual modules to be exchanged in a few simple steps – during initial installation or if changes subsequently become desirable, enabling processes at airports to maintain long-term momentum!
